Lace & Stripes Shawl

I recently finished a lovely new shawl for my mom! I am so excited for her to start wearing it! I started it at the end of November, so in total it took me about 1.5 months. I almost wish i didn’t tell her about it so I could keep it for myself…

It was actually a lot easier then it looked. The lace section was not at all complicated. The only problem I had was with working with such fine yarn. It was the first time I was using fingering weight yarn and it definitely took a bit of getting used to. Now that I started another project with worsted yarn it feels so bulky! Hah!
